How do I insure my business which is in my garden shed?
what quotes am i looking for, tradesman, office? Its all very confusing.
I have a company that design garden areas for children but we also construct designs also, and some are pre-made in the shed.

Contact an Insurance Broker (plenty in the yellow pages), and they will tell you all you need to know.
Ethernet cable protecting.?
Bought a 50m ethernet cable that runs from one side of my house to the other side, outdoors.(from hub, out office window, through garden, into play room).
Will the ethernet cable survive the next few winters? and how can i protect the cable?
Cable trunking is out the question, too expensive.
Will painting the cable protect from rain?
should i cover in duct tape?
should i bring the cable inside every night? (this would be annoying)
Should i run the cable over the roof to protect from vermin biting the cable?
Am currently bringing the cable in every night since i have no protection for it (been doing for a week), or is it ok to leave outside.just worried about the water on the cable freezing at ruining the cable.

Ethernet cable is not designed to be exposed to the elements. The best way to make it last a few years the way you have it routed is to purchase a piece of pvc pipe the leangth between the two windows and dig a trench. Run the ethernet through the pipe, stuff the ends with newspaper and wrap the ends in tape and bury it.
Now duct tape will not really protect the exposed part from the window to the ground all that well, so use a simple rubber insilation tape you can get at your local hardware store like this:

Thats the easiest and most inexpensive way.
