How can I protect my outdoor cats & dogs from the rain (besides the dog house)?
A big storm is coming up and I am living at a house (temporarily) where animals are not allowed inside. I have a large dog house for the dogs. However, they still get soaked when it rains. The cats usually hide under the cars and their food gets soaked and I have to throw it all away. What can I do?
I would suggest that you take your pets someplace else until the storm passes. A friend, relative, someone - who can help you keep them safe. Hopefully, your temporary situation will be resolved soon and your animals will be in the house with you where they belong.
How to keep a large dog in a Fence?
I have a pitbull, lab, german shepherd mix, We are hopefully going to move into a house w/ a large fence in a neighborhood. We have an electric fence (We bought it from Home Depot) But the light is not blinking and Killer (Our baby/dog) is starting to try to dig out again. So I dont think the fence is working even tho it is plugged in and the power is on.
Any advice? Thanks!

Give us a clue why it's out of the question to not get a MUTT neutered? Did it ever occur to you that your unaltered dog is digging out to find the bitches who are not spayed, who are in season. This is a NO BRAINER! Just a matter of time before your dog is hit and killed, or injured by a car. Dogs who are bored and don't get enough attention will also dig out. I suggest that you sort out the problem and take care of it. A happy dog doesn't dig out.
